A little something from the starting days of amamak+polaroid.

Photoshoot yesterday involved hanging out in strangers’ driveways, shooting across the street from a construction site where actual cat calls happened, (apparently that’s a real thing) partially demonic makeup, and of course wandering around appreciating the beautiful weather, (TWENTY DEGREES!) sun, and leaves.

Oh, and as you can see, redhead wig!

We at amamak (that is to say, Michelle & Aviva) apologize for the lack of activity on our little picture blog lately. As it turns out, it can occasionally get kind of tough finding time to sort, scan, crop, edit, watermark and post things when you’re too busy actually being out TAKING PICTURES (!!! WOO PICTURES WOO !!!)

But fear not, your daily fix of our ego-feeding shenanigans is back! With a day-trip photoshoot in Jay (Vermont) last weekend, two shoots this long weekend (SEVEN ROLLS OF FILM, MOTHERFUCKERS!) and the mystical development (finally) of a two-year old roll of 35mm film, we’ve got plenty to share with you. We’re sorry it took so long. Enjoy.
